This pool has gotten awesome in recent years, such that my niece begs to visit it every single time she's in town. There's a nice slide and everything is well maintained. I love living in Story City, and this pool is one of the reasons.

When did I visit the Story City pool 🤔. I was probably driving by....? I did used to live at 923 Broad which is like a hop, skip but no jump to that pool. Unless they redid (revamped) the area I dont recall water jets in the ground as the picture shows. Its directly south of the high school so watch out for the fun-filled drama 😂.

Very nice new pool. Essentially a water park for a small town. Even has a full size waterslide, and a small one for the kids. No flotation devices allowed though, other than life jackets/kickboards.

Twice in a week I've had to speak to the manager about children at the pool. The first for excessively cussing near children under the age of 8. The second was a child trying to steal from my bag as I lap swam. When I went to speak to manager before I even described the child he knew exactly who I was speaking of. And said it wasn't the first, but SECOND time today he has been told to stop stealing.
At the very least the parents should be notified, but not like that happened.
Further to annoy me, within 10 minutes the child was given McDonald's French fries from the staff, which the child proceeded to eat on deck.

Your "threat" to kick the child out has ZERO VALIDITY when directly after punishment you feed the child
We will not be renewing our pool passes for next summer.

Over sized kiddy pool preferred the old one more than the new. Slide is okay but nothing too exciting, plus it is smaller than the old. Fun for 20 minutes

Nice pool well maintained, they make you take a break ever hr, which I've never experienced and the slide was down the day we went, otger than that my family had a very nice time.

Pool closed by 2 today for low attendance when there were at least15 people there at the time they closed. Might want to have some manager training
