I absolutely love this gym but their hours of operation leave something to be desired. They are closed on Saturdays during the summer yet open 4-8 Sundays. That’s backwards (if anyone is listening). Also, the website says the gym opens at 11 AM on Saturday, so I trekked down to the gym to get in a workout only to find the gym closed… disappointed

I pay for it but can never use it because of my school and work schedule. It would be amazing if they could be open from 6-10 or something on weekdays instead of 9-8. They’re only open from 9-5 on Fridays, and Saturdays just 12-4…kinda annoying I have to pay for a planet fitness subscription and leave campus if I wanna stay fit. I thought CSU was committed to health of their students?

Love the CSU's rec center. Love the running/jogging trail. Pay attention to the days. I have my favorite machines. I mean it's a Gym if you love working out than you will love this gym. It has all kinds of aerobics you just have to find your niche. Good luck toward a healthy YOU!

Ridiculous policies and a poorly kept schedule. Have gone in at 1:30 on a Saturday for the pool only to be told they don’t open the pool at that time. This was after we paid and were seen with bathing suits on and towels in hand. If it doesn’t open at 1, update the website and tel us before we pay. Went in today for muscle recovery in the hot tub, was not told it was closed, and the staff kept telling us 30 minutes. We left after an hour and a half and another individual telling us 30 more minutes. Never had these issues before. Will not go again.

An impressively designed, state of the art facility with modern equipment… ten years ago. The CSU rec center was clearly a one time donation back in 2012; the facility has fallen into a sad state of disrepair ever since. Equipment is in desperate need of repair/replacement. There isn’t even a consistent supply of cloths to wipe down machines after use - an obvious health hazard. When informed about the depleted towel dispensers, an employee (probably work study) grumbled something, sprayed a paper towel with cleaning solution, and handed it to me. Pathetic. A shame since the facility at large is still like new. The hours are even more abysmal and it is not feasible to utilize the facility within the constraints of any normal class/work schedule,

Hot tub is Always in disrepair. Men’s locker room is dirty without exception, including the presence of bugs. Basketball court is always occupied with kiddo camps/events. Other than that, it’s a fine recreation center.
