Yeah the apartment was disgusting when I moved in, rent was outrageous for a single bedroom second floor. I live in a 2 bedroom 2 full bath for the same price now. They also kept almost the entirety of my security deposit because of "fees." One was carpet cleaning which I would understand if it was actually professionally cleaned and then a regular cleaning fee which I was told was only if it was disgusting on move out. My apartment was cleaner when I moved out vs when I moved in, there was still food particles in the cabinet and food crumbs on the counter tops

Well well well for starters very old apartment not worth 1,201 for 2 bed to bath. Stayed 2 years toiler and shower in both bathrooms was never fixed. Apartment was still dirty prior to moving in. Door knobs was also missing and never got fixed the whole 2 years we stayed. Maintenance came several times to fix bathroom but never did. Middle of the summer ac stopped working took 3 days to get it fixed. A friend of mine left a week before we did. They tried to put him in a 3 bedroom and the apartment was full of roach and roach eggs. This has to be the worst place in Hattiesburg to stay. Even if you clean the apartment after you move out you get charged a cleaning fee. Do not waste your hard earned money moving here please.

Stayed here for a year and the experience was awful. The front office and maintenance sucked at their job. If anything stopped working, you were better off fixing it yourself. Went a whole year without the ice machine working, toilet working (it would constantly run and run and run), kitchen light would always go out (we called multiple times pertaining the light because it blew out all the lightbulbs WE bought), and bugs bugs bugs!!! Our sink and toilet in our main bathroom went out multiple times. The sink leaked into our closet and completely made the place smell like mildew. Then I noticed that water was coming up through the floors in the bathroom. Called about that, guess what, NEVER FIXED. DO NOT stay here. The experience was horrible and because it’s so bad you move out, they charge you random fees even though you paid a security deposit. So unless you’re ok with fixing stuff even though maintenance is included in rent cost, then save yourself some grief and do not stay here.

I would never recommend anyone to live here as they will steal your money and try to say you weren't paying the apartment staff is unprofessional and the apartment was not living condition unpon move in they will still try to make you pay remaining lease even tho you were evicted please people do not move here I've tried contacting lease office they are avoiding my calls summer west I will not be paying you 5,125 because I don't owe it period I will be refiling this for court as stove caught on fire not one but two times putting myself and children's lives in danger staff was notified with first incident and they put another faulty element in stove which caused a second fire this will be filied for court due to the emotional distress me and my children stuffered

I've lived here with my husband for almost a year, and we resigned our lease for next year. The apartments themselves are a little older, but they are still nice! Any maintenance request has been done the same day. The maintenance men are very friendly and helpful as well as the office staff. We have always felt safe here. We live on the 1st floor and barely ever hear any of our neighbors. The price is very reasonable compared to a lot of apartment complexs in Hattiesburg

Been here for a few years now and this is the worst place I've ever lived. There's always something going on with the water bill. They charge you whatever they want. When it comes to getting things fixed you might as well fix them yourself. The maintenance and front office are a joke. Never have an answer for anything. 0/10

I would highly recommend these apartments!

Pros: Secure neighborhood, the management is amazing, maintenance would come within 2-3 days (I never had a maintenance problem which was an emergency), always enough parking, clean apartment, great price for rent!

Cons: I saw 3 cockroaches (they were big so definitely from outside) over a span of 13 months. It wasn't really a problem & I had a friend who lived in the same apartment complex during the time I was there and he never had roaches or any other bugs. My unit did not have a microwave, washer, and dryer.

I have lived here 10yrs, nice managers, one of the only apartment complexes to allow pets, nice area with almost no crime, within walking distance to shopping, eateries and entertainment. The biggest problem and my only real complaint is they seem to have a hard time keeping maintenance staff. Current maintenance staff seem to be lacking in knowledge of how to do some of the most basic jobs correctly.

Others mentioned bug problems, I have not had this problem and they do have a pesticide company come around monthly. There is a large vacant lot next door with a lot of pine trees so the occasional wood roach does come in.
