Highly recommend Taste Buds as a birthday party venue. We did a gingerbread house making birthday for a group of 4 & 5 year olds and everyone had a fabulous time! Taste Buds went above and beyond and truly took care of every detail. The hot chocolate with the cupcakes was a perfect winter treat. We also enjoyed creating our own chef hats and the seasonal story and freeze dance.

We had such a great time with our granddaughter! So much fun. We made mummy pizzas and buttercream frosting to top the Taste Bud prepared cupcakes. Learning how to fill pastry bags with our homemade frosting and changing pastry tips were new skills for all of us. Eating the delicious food we prepared at the end of the session was wonderful. But spending quality time with our sweet granddaughter was the best of all!! Thank you Taste Buds!!

My 7 year old and I had a blast! We went with another family, and sat at the same table together. It was very well organized. The steps kept the kids' attention and were easy for them to manage. We walked out with 2 donuts that we made!

What an amazing gem! I was looking for something fun for my daughters “Sweet 16” and came across Taste Buds Kitchen. Now that she’s in high school, she was worried about blending her 3 different groups of friends from school, sports and activities without making it awkward. Well, this was perfect! They all had a great time and were all so proud of their creations.

Now for myself, I couldn’t appreciate the “just show up” more than you know. I literally didn’t have to do a thing but pay! They handled everything and I mean everything; the decorations, food, drinks, cupcakes, setup, cleanup, collecting gifts and food containers for leftovers. Yes, it may seem a bit pricey at first for a “kids party” but after seeing how much goes into it, you’ll realize it’s worth every penny!

As for the staff, AMAZING! So patient and kind, not enough praises for the incredible team!

Bought a gingerbread house for my grandsons to decorate (9 and 6 yrs old). Loved last year's decorating day and it deserved a repeat! We let them be more free-wheeling this year. Mom and Nanni were just the "icing crew." It was FUN! A perfect pre-season family thing. Highly recommend!

This was our third year decorating gingerbread houses at Taste Buds Kitchen, As always, we had a fantastic time. Taste Buds does such a great job with children of all ages, and provides an excellent assortment of gingerbread house decorations.

This was our first time at Taste Buds Kitchen in Bannockburn, located by Heinen's grocery store March 2024. We had group of 8 for a surprise birthday celebration for our mom. We chose the Rustic Italian: Chicken Parmesan, Risotto and cannoli, which turned out really delicious. We all did a good job and enjoyed the food. Didn't think we would like cannoli but we did.

The staff greeted us with a nice drink station and appetizers set up. on our tables. They had a welcome sign and birthday sign with our mom's name on it, which was a very special touch. They played background music while we cooked and let my mom select her music choice. Michael Bolton! The staff was friendly and very helpful. They took group pictures for us. All the ingredients were prepped for us for each recipe we were making and the staff took care of the dishes. It's nice cooking and not have to worry about dishes. The refills of the drink station could have been refilled a little more frequently, it was a low.

Areas of improvement lies with their no cancellation/rescheduling/no refund policy. We almost didn't book because of this policy. We were concerned if for some reason we could not attend we would lose $600. That is a lot of money. I hope the company will re-evaluate adjusting their policy because we would love to take another class but no refund or rescheduling is a serious concern.

Overall staff was great and we had a fun family group experience and my mom enjoyed celebrating her birthday here.
