It was the perfect spot for us to get married in September of 2019. We rented the Tea Room for 2 days (one to decorate and one for the wedding), and rented a nearby overlook for our ceremony. It was cheap, intimate, and the building required very little decoration since it is already quaint and beautiful. Dogs are not allowed in the tea room but we were able to have our pups with us at the overlook for the ceremony. The weather was wonderful on the mountain and the forest and overlooks were perfect spots for photos. I would highly recommend using this spot for small gatherings or weddings.

20231231 This tea house was empty today. I took the trail behind the tree house and saw the huge rock it sat on and beautiful quartz embedded in it.
2021 This Tea Room is actually like a house with a large room inside and the back has a balcony that overlook Middletown. When I got there, I learned that the tea room is for rent and a family reunion was actually being held when I was there.

Rustic old cabins and vista overlooks built by the Civilian Conservation Corp in the late 1930's and 1940s. Located in Gambrill State Park. The Tea room is a well maintained building used for small events. Nice hiking trails. Park open 8-6pm as of 10/14/21. 😄😄

Beautiful Vista from balcony. Great room with fireplace, connected with functional kitchen and restroom facility. Quite ideal for small parties or gatherings. Need to book a year ahead for weekend but weekdays are easier to book.
