Great little store. The atmosphere was nice, staff welcoming and friendly. The have a huge selection of Games Workshop, Crisis Protocol, Song of Fire and Ice, boardgames, and more.

Great store, great owner. Every time I go here I always find what I'm looking for and if not I know I can have it ordered and arrive within the week if not just a day or two. He carries just about anything and everything you need for your game sessions. My only complaint (and no I'm not knocking stars off for this) is I wish I lived closer lol definitely a must go.

Excellent selection and great variety. I visit FLGS all across the country and Tempest is excellent for the size and location! Had games you can typically only find online like CMON's Master's of the Universe.

While visiting the area we went to the little bookstore in the same strip and realized we still had some time to kill after they closed. We almost didn’t go into Tempest because the outside is a little rundown and the windows are tinted so we couldn’t see inside. But do yourself a favor and completely ignore that and GO INSIDE if you like games and minis! They have plenty of board games, handbooks for role playing games, dice, and a large selection of miniatures and paints! It was so much fun to look around. It looks like they have some table space to play with a group in store and everything was well organized. The employee we spoke with was very kind and personable. We ended up buying a few sets of dice after shopping around for a while before we left. Definitely a shop to keep on the radar for gamers and gifts!

Really welcoming space. I was new to Iowa and they let me just come in and talk. I was going through a rough time and being able to find a welcoming community felt awesome.

Went here today to buy a sealed yugioh box of cyberstorm access and some blister packs. Was charged per pack for the box at almost 105 dollars. The sales were also not added to my account with them so I got no credit for my purchases. This is astronomically overpriced. I frequent this store when I have the time, but I won't be shopping here anymore and I suggest those whom read this don't either. That box goes for $55 fair market, not $105...
