We got to hang out with Yukon. He escorted us to our tasting. Nice small tasting with Denise giving us the run down of meads and wines available. Very low key and enjoyable. The meads run on the drier side compared to commercial (which I prefer). Recommend visiting and giving Yukon some pets.

Wife and I did a quick visit to the tasting room. An overall fun and educational experience. The tasting room is small and rustic but offers a great personal experience by staff. Only a handful of times trying mead - I really enjoyed the flight of mead. Wife enjoyed her flight of wine.

What makes Tesnatee unique compared to the many other wineries in the area? Their great selection of honey and mead produced on property. Bonus- can sample the honey with fresh bread.

Like the other wineries they have a very nice selection of wines produced on property.

I would recommend visiting and trying their flight of mead and honey.

Cute tasting room off Town Creek Road. Stopped in for a wine slushie, and it did the trick. They have live honey bees for viewing and a good tasting list of mead and wines.

What started as a spontaneous side of the road stop turned out to be the best experience on our trip to northern Georgia. They weren’t even technically open and still let us come in and spent so much time going through all the wines meads honey and history of the farm. They were so very kind and the best part of it all is that everything they make is sourced from things they grow on their own farm. A true family farm to table experience and the Jord mead is a must try!

Denise is the best hostess, pourer, etc. She made the trip worth its wait in gold. I ended up with a box of wine and mead. Forget all these wineries, this is the best place ever. There is even a dog to greet you, can't get better than that. Unless you hate dogs but still the best ever. I will definitely be back to this place in the future and I live in Alabama. If I could give it 10 stars I would.

This is a beautiful farm to table experience! We tried all the wine and meads, and they were fantastic. They provide you with fresh made sourdough bread and jams and honey made on site during the tasting. It's great to see a winery using 100% their own products from the farm. We loved this and it's a must stop! They were super friendly and happy to have us.

Amazing wine and mead! Amazing honey! What’s better than tasting wine, mead, and honey all in one location Plus, they don’t try to bleed your wallet dry like some of the other wineries in the area. Very personable staff! Highly suggest this place!

We visited the Tesnatee River Winery and Meadery on Sunday afternoon (7/24/22) for a wine and mead tasting. Me and my wife had a great time. Our sommelier, Adrianne, was the perfect host. She was very knowledgeable on all of the winery's products and how each one was grown and distilled. We left with a bottle of their famous Southern Supreme sweet Mead. We loved all of their sweet wines and meads. We had never had mead before and this was a pleasant first experience for both of us. If you are in White county, and have the time, it is definitely worth the quick detour off of 129 to go check out this quiet place for a tasting and see for yourself what all the fuss is about. 10/10 We will be returning for more of their products.
