I went to the Axe Capital (Parkway Tavern) on a Friday night at 6:30pm. My review is based on my experience.. The bar was not packed or crowded but getting served was slow and frustrating. The bartenders were too busy doing something so we waited forever to get drinks. We had a Groupon to throw axes which was honored. The way the axe lanes are setup are narrow and the targets change after each attempt. I found it extremely difficult to get the axe to land in the targets (whatever they are made of) and because of this, we didn’t have as good a time. The woman who started our game was not very helpful and I got too many directions that were not helpful. Then a man came and he tried hard to help us land the axes but it was still frustrating. We didn’t enjoy it. The best part of going to this place for our group was the Jenga that was setup in the back area.

Went for my daughter's birthday and everyone had a great time! It's harder than it looks, but it's so much fun. You have a variety of time limits, games, and throwing tool options to choose from. There is more than just axes, so there's plenty to do. We will definitely be back.

Chris was an awesome host. The place is very clean and it has a very relaxed atmosphere. They have a bunch of different games to choose from and 30 minutes went by way too quickly. Definitely a spot to check put every time we come.

Had such a GREAT TIME! I’ve thrown axes before a few times but with the extra help from the staff I was able to perfect my throws, I didn’t want to stop! Enjoyed some drinks and apps as well, will def be returning for a fun time out!

This was a great family experience. The host provided great instruction with multiple tools. This was different than other axe throwing places I had seen because it incorporated multi-player games which was really fun for us! The host also put on the game so we could watch and play at the same time and game us 15 extra minutes! Will definitely go again! Thank you!!

A great team building event and a good way to bond with your work crew in a very relaxed atmosphere. The instructor was patient and thoroughly explained the tips and tricks to be a proficient axe thrower with just a little bit of practice. Would HIGHLY recommend this for your next company offsite.

Anthony, the owner, was there and was the one who gave us our pre-throwing lesson. Fantastic explanations, super patient, and even showed us how to pick and choose which throwing games we wanted to play. Great selection and service - we came for a girls' day out activity, and now we want to go back with the boys for a double date!
