My wife and I stayed at the Burney Motel in July, 2024.||We weren't quite sure what to expect, as we could tell it was a small, independent hotel, and honestly it exceeded our expectations!||First off, when we checked in, we were told we were upgraded to a bigger room because they had to move some other guests to other rooms. So we ended up in room 1, a room with three beds in it, a full kitchen, and a beautiful, large bathroom! So we were quite impressed with how spacious the room was. And the WiFi worked great for us.||I saw other reviews indicating there were snacks and breakfast items located in the office, but there weren't any there when we went in the morning. So that was a bit of a disappointment.||This was a cute place and we wouldn't hesitate to stay here again if we have the opportunity.

We (family of 4) stayed here for 1 night traveling to Lassen NP. It was clean, had comfortable beds, all the amenities, and in a great location. The owner was fantastic and obviously puts a lot of care into running the motel!

Friendly staff. Shower was really small (and I am a small person, don't know how bigger people shower in there). The Blackberry Patch restaurant right across the road is very good for breakfast. There is a laundromat next door which was convenient. Was a little far for driving to/from Lassen NP each day but this was the closest I could find north of the park. Nice locals in the town.

Good for what was being offered and for price. Not a lot of options in the area. This is a decent one to consider given that it offers basic accommodations at a reasonable price. I kept my expectations in check and was not disappointed by my stay.

This is a terrific choice motel off Hwy 299 in Burney with very nice updates and the best management around. Be sure to be mindful of yourself and appreciate all the amazing hard work and dedication this establishment has been involved in making sure we as California at large or visitors to such have a nice, restful and comfortable convenient place to take our roadside breaks for the evenings please and thank you soooo much!

Simple Motel with Character!
Welcoming and friendly staff, full of info on places to visit and eat!!!
Easy check in!
Clean rooms, with king bed, microwave and fridge too!!
Near Burney Falls and so much more!
Absolutely would stay here again!

Stayed here for work, will be coming back for vacation. Awesome hosts, great pricing and even let me park my semi in their lot. Rooms were huge, and best of all, very clean. 10/10 would definitely stay here again.
