The Otter Island kids aqua park was a great. Took our two very energetic boys to burn some energy. Place is super clean. Staff is super chill. Cool vibes. We will definitely be returning. They really did an amazing job rejuvenating this place!

Awesome park that just got 10x better! This park has been around for over 2 decades and has been a great place for wakeboarding and water activities, but they just recently put a lot of time and money into making it much better and it’s a huge improvement! Lots of brand new UNIT wakeboard features that riders of all levels will appreciate, and a perfect size aqua park for people just looking to have fun and cool off, with a beautiful seating area as well! Very excited to see all the big things happening here, and highly recommend coming to check it out!

Visited on10/5/24 just to do Otter Island. Probably only 10-15 people on the obstacle course during our hour session 12p. Bought tickets online and did waiver in advance. Kids had a blast and enjoyed it. Nice sitting area and we brought drinks and snacks in and no one stopped us. Great value for $12/hour. Wish they did like a 2hr for $20 special or something like that. We would’ve bought a second hour but kids really needed a break for a drink/snack.

This place is AMAZING! The staff makes it fun. I had never done it before and the two guys running the wakeboard cable were very patient and helpful. I highly recommend going early if you are new to the activity

To be honest - I sucked at getting up. I will just eat humble pie all day on this one.

The staff is genuinely kind - 5 stars to them.

I’ve been to a couple cable parks before. I ride goofy (right foot forward) and this park pulls you in a clockwise fashion which is harder for me. I learned at a cable park that pulled you counter clockwise.

So why a 2 star review:

1) I took two friends that didn’t want to wake board but talked them into driving an hour there and an hour back to the beach because of the aqua park. I bought my ticket ahead of time and since they wanted to see the aqua park first we didn’t pre buy their tickets. When we got there the aqua park was closed. That was really disappointing after driving an hour and leaving the beach.

2) I sucked at getting up. That’s not their fault; but the speed at which their cable pulls is crazy fast. I mean pull your shoulder out of socket fast. I asked the guy and he told me it rips at full speed (31 km/h) through the week and they slow it down on the weekends. For the new beginners come back on a weekend. Okay - I’m not a pro, but I can wake behind our 2022 ski boat without issue and I’ve gotten up at the Orlando park a number of times.

3) We went on a Thursday and the park was dead, there were three grown men trying their best to get up and a fourth guy lapping us all. I felt they should have offered to slow down the cable system, but they didn’t they just tried to talk me back into coming on a weekend for beginners - which fine okay I sucked, but dang I sure didn’t think it was at that stage of a beginner. So if you are a beginner - do NOT come here during the week. I think that’s a fair statement.

4) Lastly at the water park in Orlando you can sit on the edge of the dock and it’ll pull you up. I asked the guy and he said no that’s not how theirs was designed - they have longer ropes and you have to start standing. So I felt like you had to nail a trick before you could even start to wake. You start standing and it pulls the crap out of you a 31 km/h and you face plant - kudos to the kids and people that can manage all of that but if you’re new to this or you even slightly thought you were good at wake boarding - this isn’t the course for you.

If someone had left a review like this I probably wouldn’t have driven this far out of the way nor spent the money to try it out.

It is a clean park, and the seating areas are new and beautiful,

This place is cool they have a crazy looking park for the kids and the cable part is pretty awesome they have a great setup it's a far walk from the car to the cable part but they have a great double decker dock staff so far has been amazing friendly, helpful and understanding. MY only complaint would be I wish there membership was more like other parks. I'M a member at owc and was one at ecp and you could pay for a full member ship that includes gear and the ability to ride all day whenever no matter what. Now owc does have 2 cables and there a little more expensive but I would rather pay more for more freedom but this is a new park I'm sure there testing out different stuff they do have upgrades but it becomes kind of expensive then but they gotta find what works best for them in the end the membership is still worth it just wish they had more premium options on the monthly basis charge. No start up fee though definitely a plus there with only a 6 month commitment that part is Definitely a perk.

Wonderful experience and the staff were patient and supportive! Shout out to Hawk and Jake! Note for new wakeboarders: be careful not to hold on to the rope after wiping out - it can mess with cable system and be a major nuisance for the park and other wakeboarders. Recommend going earlier to avoid the afternoon thunderstorms.

The cable goes in a loop so if you can stay on, you can keep going for a while!

Went here with some friends this past Saturday. Wasn’t nearly as busy as I thought it would be. Can’t put into words how great the experience was. Haven’t been here in 8 years and it’s been fully renovated recently. Rental boards appeared to be brand new. The staff went out of their way to walk around and give us pointers, introducing themselves, being encouraging. So sick to see. For some of my friends being new to wakeboarding, it can be intimidating being around some dudes that rip. All around great vibes and I plan on going as much as I can. Thanks y’all ?
