If you’re around the area and looking for a great place to look at both retro and modern gaming, look no further!

Always a great experience coming in and browsing all the new selection and just taking in on the nostalgia.

They’re great on selling and trading in your video games as well. There’s a couch and plenty of standing free play kiosk to help pass time (no quarters required!)

Highly recommend this retro video game store!

Great to see more retro game stores, especially in the East Bay! This store has a healthy collection of retro titles from Game Gear, Saturn and of course Xbox/PlayStation/Nintendo. There's a good split of domestic and international versions of games. They also expanded the store, so there's a lot more room for everything, including a bigger plushie wall and a much larger selection of modern games. They have a few cabinets for folks to play with, too. The staff are all very chill and they'll do their best to find you what you want rain or shine. Probably the best customer service in any game store in the Bay. When we were unsure about whether to buy a game, they let us test play it on a system, which was great. On occasion, we also had to do an exchange and it's always been hassle free. It helps that the folks here genuinely enjoy what they do and are happy to talk about everything gaming or otherwise. I always make it a point to stop in when I'm in the area!

The Experience Store is an awesome local video game shop that you've got to check out! They've got an amazing selection of games and consoles, varying condition and reasonably priced. Extremely kind staff and could spend hours there. For sure check it out and help keep our local gaming shops open!

Amazing selection, friendly staff, and knowledgeable enthusiasts. They carry all the things you would expect: consoles and games from Nintendo, Sony, and Microsoft as well as older systems and games from Atari, Sega, and others. Worth a detour even if all you do is browse.

Man this place is great! Can’t believe we have something like this in Alameda!!!

I’ve been to many other retro video gabe stores but what sets this apart are their commitment for hard to find items, Japanese imports and lots of variety for every console available in store.

And the knowledge and passion the people are have is amazing you, can see that they really have a passion for their work.

If you have an interest for consoles you enjoyed in the past it’s worth coming here.

LOVE this place! Finally a retro game store in the East Bay right next to everything, in the heart of Alameda, right across the street from Forbidden Island. This place has a variety of games in their collection, hella imports, and superior customer service! Check it out if you haven't!

I love the store. It’s an amazing one. They have a great client service and will help with everything along with questions glad to have a nice store near me would recommend if you guys are trying to find a video game near you 🙂
