A working farm with buildings, equipment, and animals to teach about agricultural life in the 1920s, the Farm at Prophetstown is great for families to explore, including getting up close and personal with the livestock.

Great indoor and outdoor museum of a typical 1920s farm. Everything is free after park admission and makes for a great afternoon trip.

Love attending events at the farm. Friendly staff, great place for kids and adults. We stopped in to visit their heirloom seed library today. Also, picked up a locally authored and printed book about the native flora in the giftshop. They offer a selection of locally made products. The meat and eggs from the farm are always fantastic.

My girlfriend and I visited the Farm at Prophetstown this past weekend after checking out the Tippecanoe Battlefield Museum earlier in the day and realizing this was right down the road. The site is a working farm depicting 1920s farm life, complete with two homes that were built from kits the original owners ordered from the Sears, Roebuck & Co. catalog. They're fully furnished with period-appropriate materials and visitors can browse through at their leisure. There's also a barn for the animals and a blacksmith shop. We had a quick visit because it was a cold, rainy March day, but the animals were a particular highlight. The farm houses were neat, but I think we would have enjoyed them more if we'd visited when there were historic interpreters to discuss the buildings and their contents. Still, a nice afternoon trip.

Hope to visit more this year to experience what they have to offer. Bought the support The Farm package, for $55 you get Indiana State park pass and The Farm sticker which comes with benefits specific to events and farm food products. Seems like they have good educational opportunities for the community and individuals wanting to learn.

Went to a Halloween event here... the kids (ages 3-11 one with special needs) loved it. It was a 40 minute line to get in though and they got about 6 pieces of candy each BUT the fresh air, farm animals, and scenery were 5 star!
