This is a wonderful venue. I love that it offers an indoor and outdoor option and it truly helped facilitate a wonderful wedding. The outdoor space is gorgeous plus all highway noise is blocked. Indoors the reception area is massive, allowing great space for dancing; it’s also a very conducive space to highlight speeches. The owners are organized, communicative, and kind. However, I am giving this venue a 3 star review because they never returned my wedding deposit. After 4 months of email exchanges, I was notified that they sent the deposit to a 3 year old address where my wife lived for less than a year. Why would you not verify an address before sending hundreds of dollars After asking for a check to be rewritten, I was ignored.

I love when I get the opportunity to photograph weddings at The Hidden Acre! It really is a stunning venue and nothing else like it in the Cedar Valley! The owners are very nice and you can't beat having such beautiful bridal suits for the bridal party to get ready in. They did everything right when they designed their venue!

The Hidden Acre was absolutely wonderful to work with for our wedding! I had lots of questions and they were quick to respond and we scheduled a walkthrough a month before to go through my long list of questions/ideas. So many guests complimented how beautiful the venue was and it was perfect for pictures! We didn't have to do much for decorating because of how beautiful it is. My parents found the owners very helpful the day of. The bar has a wide variety of options and the estimate they gave us for an open bar ended up being spot on. Overall, we couldn't recommend this venue more!

I cannot recommend The Hidden Acre enough! They were absolutely amazing during our engagement and on our wedding day. The venue is beautiful and spacious, and everyone who works there is wonderful to work with. They were extremely responsive and accommodating. All of our guests said nothing but great things about their experiences, and they loved the yard games/outdoor area. Our day was perfect thanks to The Hidden Acre!

This is the best venue. Why? It has a dedicated area for a large ceremony or gathering outside . Spacious and well planned. Sound treatments to the ceiling that dampen the echos we usually hear in large event centers like this. The AC was perfect. Great sound system. They had a head table seated for 20 plus people. The staff were responsive and engaged. If you want an outside wedding event with the backdrop of an Iowa countryside, this is your place.

The Hidden Acre is the absolute perfect place for a wedding. The owners are there from the beginning to end. They will answer all of your questions during the planning stages, day or night! They are extremely helpful the day of the event. The venue has everything you need for a beautiful day. The bridal suite is the perfect place for the girls to get ready, eat and celebrate pre wedding! Guests enjoyed the yard games too. They thought of everything. Thank you for the unforgettable day!
