We are so fortunate to call TEA center our home away from home and family away from family! Our daughter has been attending for almost 2 years now and the way that the center has contributed to her evolution is outstanding. We love and of the staff and appreciate all of the intention that Ms.Kylie puts into the place. I would highly recommended if anyone is need of a nourishing day care facility

DONT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY! This has been the WORST experience I’ve had with a daycare. They don’t have their billing together and won’t call you back. The educational staff were phenomenal. However, the billing department and customer service need improvement. I’m being billed for services not rendered, my child wasn’t apart of the program during the time I’m being billed. I’ve tried countless times to speak to someone about it but have not been able to get anyone to return my phone calls to address the issue. Finally, I called my bank and informed them of the billing issues. TEA Center billing is awful and because of that department, I withdrew my child. I’ve never experienced such poor customer service.

AVOID ENROLLING YOUR CHILD HERE AT ALL COSTS.
It has been a month since I withdrew my child from the TEA Center after only one month of attendance and OMG the difference of her being in a real facility with teachers that actually enhance her development is astonishing. While at the Tea center my child was showing signs of regression. They provided no proper support for your child’s transition from home care to daycare which was a MAJOR RED FLAG 🚩 to me and what made me want to withdraw my child after 1.5 days at this Center but I did not because 1 the director essentially was holding our money hostage but 2 we decided to give it one more chance. The director will steam roll you into thinking they provide the best care when most of the teachers don’t or can’t communicate with your adequately because of language barriers. My child is trilingual and could communicate with the staff but I unfortunately don’t speak Spanish and it was difficult knowing how her day was. Their daily reports weren’t cohesive. The curriculum is all over the place. The director really tries to upsell the center by throwing words like “holistic based education” or “research back learning “blends of Emilio regio and Montessori learning”. The truth is that none of their program fits any of those categories or criteria. I have taught both Emilio regio and Montessori for several years I have attended several NACY conferences and if you’re expecting any of that you won’t get that at the Tea center. The staff communicates extremely poorly. They use a system called brightwheel where they conduct all of their communication and are hardly responsive on that as well. What she ate in the day was never accurately recorded. To me it was weird that they discouraged parents from entering the classrooms to get their own children for drop off and pick up. I guess one the red flags that I should have paid attention to was when we did our tour. They don’t allow you to tour the facility while the children are there because they state it’s for safety purposes which doesn’t make sense as I’ve been able to tour other facilities and see the engagement of the students and staff. You don’t get to see how the teachers interact with the children you don’t get to see how well the children engage with the lessons and that to me was actually important. If you’re looking for a Center that is something you should really consider being able to see that. We’re so glad that we mad the swift change and I hope others can see this review and it helps you make your own choice. Lastly, their billing department is the absolutely WORST!! This I can not express enough! They are unclear, they are only responsive when they’re trying to bill you but if you wanted your money back or clarity on your bill you won’t get a response. MIND YOUR MONEY HERE the TEA center will either hold it hostage or will fight you tooth and nail to make sure they don’t have to give it back to you! And if the director tries to claim everything I said as false I have the proof, and I have seen throughout other reviews how she responds to negative reviews.

Please do your research on this daycare before sending your children here. Ask around on the local Facebook groups and you will find at least 5 other parents who tell you to stay away!! I still regret sending our child here for the time they went . Communication was very poor and turnover was crazy! Sometimes they would post about our child’s day and they weren’t even there! Disappointing experience that other parents in Mclean will agree with! (I’m sure the business will send a blanket reply that we never went there!)

I have sent my child here for over a year and it has been almost a month since she quit, but I am still being billed every week. I gave them a notice about a month before she quit. However, auto-pay is still happening every week (I cannot stop auto-pay due to the system) and my deposit of 1,200 has not been returned. I have not received an answer when I emailed and it is difficult to connect by phone. I am leaving a review because I am frustrated and do not know how to resolve this.

Amina, Luz and Karla from T.E.A Center held an awesome event at Eaves Tysons Corner Garden style property. They provided face painting, glitter tattoo, snacks and gift bags. They informed our parents on the excellent before and after school program they provide. Great Job Amina and staff the kids was very happy!!

Our children recently attended the Spring Camp at the TEA Center, As parents, our top priority is always the safety and well-being of our children. The TEA Center Spring Camp left us impressed with its stringent safety measures. From trained supervisors to secure facilities, we felt reassured knowing that our kids were in good hands. The front desk staff and management was easy to work with.. Mr. Mario had a lot of fun activities for the children to do.

Our family recently had the pleasure of sending our kids to the Spring Camp at the TEA Center, and it was an absolute delight. The range of activities offered at the TEA Center Spring Camp was impressive. From nature walks to arts and crafts, and even educational workshops, there was never a dull moment for our little ones. They came back each day bubbling with excitement, eager to share their new discoveries. Mr. Josh was very communicative on the daily updates of our children
