We visited here for the Outdoor Explore event and had a blast. My kids got to shoot arrows into hay bails and off a boat at "fish." My oldest got to climb a rock wall. They played disc golf. Tried out some mountain bikes. Watched the dogs do tricks. And we got free hot dogs that we got to roast. Fun activity for the family.

My Young Beautiful Bride and I, attended the First Sunday of the month Flea Market.
It was very full of vendors, selling their wares.
Very delightful time, all of the vendors were polite and enthusiastic about their booths.
We will definitely be visiting this place again, next month.

Beautiful fields and trails in town. Soccer fields, Amphitheater, trails, Wabash, MTB trails. Haven't seen a show happening there ever but that is just fine, it keeps the peaceful appeal of the place. Wish there were some exercise stations along the trails like on the lake Michigan trail in Evanston. Also wish mosquitoes weren't a thing, yes, so don't forget your bug spray.

We tried the Amphitheater park for the first time today; we enjoyed gorgeous views of the Wabash River and a fascinating array of flora. It was a great trail for photography of logs, mosses, and shelf mushrooms. Our dog was welcome and there were several others along the walkway, although it was not overcrowded. My only complaint would be that the trails are not all clearly marked and it was hard to keep track of which trail we were on as well as where to go. Overall it was an extremely enjoyable meander, with some refreshing envelopment in nature. I can’t wait for my next visit!

The mountain bike trail that winds through the forest here along the Wabash River and Burnett Creek is beautiful and well maintained. It's definitely an easy and relaxing trail, and there is little that would challenge a new rider other than a few hill climbs and switchbacks.

You don't need a hardcore mountain bike to ride here. Basically any hybrid bike or Walmart getup will get you through the trail.

If you do the full loop, expect to cover a bit over 3 miles.

Really nice location for a local show, surprisingly nice actually. Facilities we're in great shape (particularly the bathrooms). Clean grounds!!! Parking lot was in good shape too. Will definitely be seeing more shows here in the future.

Wonderful event called Outdoor Explorer. Greater Lafayette Kennel Club had a tent called Canine Sports. Kennels Club members showed different dog events you could teach. Rally, Frisbee, Fetch, Scent work, Basic Obedience, and much more. Great crowd that was drifting in all day. It is so fun to help educate the public and help new pet owners.
