This is all we got to see 😭 we drove 2 hours to go here because Google said they were open. The sign on the door said December-August call for appointment. I called and no one has called back, so that was a little disappointing. I THINK YOU SHOULD CALL BEFORE YOU GO TO MAKE SURE THEY WILL BE OPEN, ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE TRAVELING THERE. We had a fun drive though and from what we could see through the window it looked like we would have enjoyed it. The signs were super cute too.

An incredible experience in Americana. One woman’s hobby over decades yielded over 15,000 sets of all shapes and sizes. We spent over an hour with one of the most committed docents I’d ever had the pleasure of sharing time.

My husband and I had a great time. The volunteer was so nice and has lots of entertaining and educational things to share. We were amazed at all the Salt and Pepper Shakers. Very interesting trip.

Wonderful curated lifetime collection by a single person. The staff have done a great job to keeping the collection clean, organized, and conducting free tours with the price of admissions. (This is not just your crazy aunt's dusty collection of knick knacks.)

We really, really enjoyed our tour through this! We found Ellen very delightful, knowledgeable, and passionate! At first we were going to pass this by as the "making an appointment" was a hindrance for our plans for the day. BOY! am I happy that we changed our plans to see this! I recommend this little museum and it's collection. Hopefully you will get to meet Ruth (who started this and owned the majority of this collection)

Such an amazing collection of S&P shakers I've ever seen in one place. Over 16,000 shakers from Ruth G and there is 10,000 in the basement were donated by visitors over the last 11 years. There are even risqué items. She started collecting in 1946. Some shakers date back to 1800's.
