I had a great experience at Uncle Shucks! It was my first time visiting. The three different maze options were all so fun! A map is required. The first time through we got lost! The check points and maze games make going through this corn maze so much fun. Also, the petting zoo, pumpkin patch, concessions, and other activities at this farm make it so much fun. I loved getting to feed the baby cows, but you need to get there early because one everyone knows that the cows can be fed, there is a large number of people who want to feed them as well. I will definitely come back here! My experience (and birthday celebration) here was truly a 10/10!!!

I will cut to the chase. This place is littered with liabilities and was not all that enjoyable to me and my friends.

Let’s start with the bonfires. They are made in circles if I guess… sheet metal? Not used to seeing that. Here’s the biggest thing: we literally watched their worker throw trash and debris into all of these fires (there were 6 bins). Including a huge cardboard box at one point (see pictures.) Cardboard is unsafe to burn and it can release hazardous chemicals into the air. I’m sure this is probably a violation of county ordinances/code.

On top of it being unsafe, setting trash on fire led to LOTSSS and lots of little particles floating through the air everywhere. We were all being snowed on. I ended up getting a bunch of ash on my forehead, when we were standing like 15 feet away from it!

We had to wait in line for what felt like years before getting marshmallows all because the worker told us that we couldn’t roast marshmallows until all the fires were lit. Mind you, people were standing at them already. We just couldn’t get the marshmallows (that are included in your ticket.) it was taking so long that we took the disappointing hayride. While we were gone I guess they randomly changed policy and started giving the marshmallows out. Interesting.

The little shop here is disappointing. No cute t shirts at all. The animals in the “petting zoo” look to be poorly taken care of. See pictures. The maze was idk, just a corn maze. And the food from the food truck was absolutely horrible. We ordered roasted corn, chili cheese fries, and funnel cake. The corn was tiny and not that great, the funnel cake was soft, and the chili was basically salsa and cheese was the fake liquid stuff.

As a small business owner myself, just take it from me when I say literally everything here could be drastically improved. I would never go back.

The corn maze is wonderful. The grounds are clean and organizes. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The haunted corn maze is better than a lot of haunted houses! The set ups are nice and the scares are good. They are very kid friendly and understanding. (Even in the haunted corn maze) the men and women working the haunted parts are really talented and put on a good show.

Always worth the money and memories! So much to do here!

We had an absolutely fantastic time at Uncle Shuck's Corn Maze and Pumpkin Patch! This 15-acre farm in Dawsonville, Georgia, is perfect for a family day out. The corn maze is massive and fun to explore, and the pick-your-own pumpkin patch is a hit with the kids. There are so many activities to keep everyone entertained, from the jumping pillow to tire mountain and even gem mining! The entire farm is filled with farm-fresh food and that wonderful fall atmosphere, making it a must-visit for families.
And for those looking for a little more thrill, The Dark Rows haunted trail on Friday and Saturday nights is a must! The haunted cornfield adventure was perfectly eerie, with just the right mix of spooky and fun. The darkness and misty October air made it feel like we were stepping into a horror movie. It's completely separate from the regular maze, so you can enjoy both experiences in one visit. If you're a fan of haunted attractions, The Dark Rows is an unforgettable experience!
Highly recommend Uncle Shuck's for both family fun during the day and a spooktacular night adventure! We’ll definitely be coming back next fall!

What a fun place to spend a September or October day with children! Uncle Shucks has one of the largest corn maze attractions in Georgia, 15 acres to get lost in. The maze has a game where you find all the locations in the maze and punch your card to turn in for a chance to win a prize. There are lots of other things for kids to do: feed cows and goats (if you purchase milk bottles or feed); pan for mineral gems (if you purchase a sand bucket to sift with); and free things: the corn corn shoots corn cobs at a car; kids slide; kids jumping pad; families ride on a tractor around the corn field along the Etowah River. There are picnic tables under roof where you can eat, but my advice is DON'T plan to eat here. The outdoor food stand is very $$$ (tray of 4 chicken strips, fries and 2 ice teas was $26 - included 3.5% charge for using a credit card) and quality is not worth the cost. You cannot bring in your own food or drinks, either, so come early in the morning and go to lunch elsewhere, or come after you have had lunch. They are also open in evenings with spooky Halloween surprises!

Had a blast in the corn maze! We did a portion with my six year olds best friend and mom and then even went back after they left to spend another two hours finishing the mystery! Super super well thought out and exciting for all ages! There was only one portion of the maze that wasn’t correct on the map. We also enjoyed the gem sifting although there were some very very sharp pieces of ‘gems’ that looked like colored glass. Love the corn cannon and the tractor! We did have some concerns about one of the calf’s who had been separated from its mother from a very very young age who was sitting all alone and we were informed the other calf’s would bully it out of the shaded area. This poor baby looked sickly and very depressed. That alone doesn’t make me want to support this business but if that isn’t something that concerns you then you and your family and friends will have a very fun time.
