The service and atmosphere is excellent here unfortunately I’ve watched the food deteriorate over the last few years. Used to be a regular here and then the last time I was here a few months ago I said never again. I decided to give it one more shot today and I gotta say was extremely disappointed. I ordered the Rachel entree with the ceaser salad. For $21 The sandwich was the size of your palm with a few slithers of brisket and cheese. The ceaser salad… well let’s just say first time ever I could not finish a salad because it was inedible. They should of been embarrassed to serve it. I took a pic of what was left over and you can decide yourself. Used to be one of my favorite local places but unfortunately I will never return here.

I have dined at Uproot numerous times, and while service may vary based on different factors, I have always received a level of quality and hospitality that met or exceeded my expectations. It puzzles me to see reviews that focus solely on one disappointing experience without acknowledging the overall consistency and effort of the staff.
The notion that a $60 steak should automatically come with sides or sauces is a subjective opinion, not a flaw. Many high-end restaurants serve steak as a standalone dish, allowing the quality of the meat to shine without unnecessary additions. As for service, while no place is perfect, I have personally never felt unwelcome or ignored during my visits. The staff has always been professional and accommodating.
Furthermore, the argument about children's entertainment in an upscale dining setting is an unfair critique. This is not a casual chain restaurant with crayons and paper menus; it is a place focused on providing a refined dining experience. If that is not what someone is looking for, it may not be the right fit—but that does not mean the establishment is failing in its purpose.
At the end of the day, I believe in forming my own judgment based on multiple experiences, and Uproot has consistently delivered quality food and service. I highly recommend giving it a fair chance rather than basing opinions on singular, isolated visits.

Made a reservation through Resy app and had no issues getting a table for 4. Upon arrival, there was plenty of free parking in their parking lot. We were greeted and promptly taken care of by our hostesses after walking in. After our group had all arrived, we decided to order a bunch of small plates and a couple pizzas, so as not to completly engorge ourselves. We ordered the Bao Buns, Chicharron Arancini, Buffalo Cauliflower, Salmon Crudo, Truffle Friesm Goat Cheese & Bacon Pizza, and Broken Burrata Pizza. Each bite was super flavorful and delicious. Our favorites were the Buffalo Cauliflower and Arancini. Both pizzas were also super tasty. The crunch of the thin crust made it so enjoyable. We ended our night with a sliver of Tiramisu. Just enough to finish off the meal without feeling overly stuffed. 10/10 would highly recommend.

Uproot restaurant was an absolute disappointment. From the moment we walked in, the service was terrible. Our server was unfriendly and only smiled when our bill hit $800—talk about trying to make a sale. The food was mediocre at best. The steak was served without any sauce or even a hint of presentation—it was just a lonely, sad piece of meat that looked like it had been thrown on the plate. To top it off, we noticed another table where three people sat there for a while, drinking water, and eventually left because no one bothered to serve them.

Our experience only got worse when they seated us at a high chair table, and they gave my daughter a high chair that was so low I couldn't even see her across the table. It felt like an afterthought, and frankly, a huge inconvenience. Overall, I wouldn't recommend Uproot to anyone. It was a horrible experience from start to finish.
