Comfiest bed we've slept on at a motel, and it was so wonderful to be able to open the windows to fresh mtn air! Cabin vibes were so fun, we couldn't hear the neighbors at all, and the hot springs also give you a discount if you're staying at the Ute Motel. We'll be back!

The lighting in the room is really bad and especially the shower needs to have lights installed.

The place is really clean and rustic.
Good soap good shampoo good towels good sheets and blankets.

The lady who runs it is the sweetest lady and made my family feel welcome. The breakfast was good, the beds were comfortable and the box fan was perfect for me because I like a loud fan to sleep. You get more than you pay for with this room and I will stay here again when in the area.

I loved staying at the Ute! The location is amazing and you can walk everywhere in town - including the springs. Dog-friendly, clean, quiet, and cozy. We had everything we needed. Will definitely be back again and again!

Located right on US 40 entering the Town of Hot Sulphur Springs Colorado. One of two older small motels in town. Offers discounts for Hot Springs Spa. The county rd to Cottonwood Pass runs behind the motel providing access to public land and numerous trails. Within walking distance of the only gas station and convenience store in town Not far from the only liquor store . Pioneer Park nearby has a day use area right on the Colorado River. Fishing is available as well as floating at the base of Gore Canyon (for the very experienced only). Parking is plentiful, pets are allowed, small BBQ area provided. Also across from the Grand County Railroad museum, although the hours are sporadic

my boyfriend and I took a spontaneous little weekender to the hot springs with no prior planning. asked around for a good place to stay, and ute trail motel was recommended, but we were told it's likely booked out for the night already. we tried anyways and managed to get the last room of the day! the owner was amazing! she offered us little breakfast baggies she made herself, and gave us free entry to the hot springs the next day since we had already visited prior to checking in and missed out on their discounted rate! the room was clean and well decorated-- way bigger than we expected. it was actually 2 rooms, with a little kitchenette as a nice surprise! the heater worked incredibly through the snowy night, and they even had clean towels, flip flops, and robes for the springs. perfect for us because we came super unprepared! location was convenient too. it was a little more pricey than what I usually look to pay, but it was worth it to have such a perfect experience. and I don't mind splurging for just one night. and the best part, their friendly pup assisted us in our check out! ? 100% recommend staying here if you get the chance! would love to return in the near future
