We had a perfect day for the ice hike on 1/21/2024 at Ricketts Glen. There had been a full week of extremely cold days and snow which made for lots of ice and absolutely beautiful waterfalls and gorgeous scenery.
It was my first time doing a hike like this and it was amazing. Our guides Bob and Chelsea were awesome. They are both very knowledgeable and passionate about what they do and they work hard to provide you with a fun and safe experience.
And, Bob, thanks for the fun, man. It was a blast. I'll be sure to request you next time. You always need a good troublemaker in a group!! lol

Did the full day hike and had a great time. Doug and Nick were my guides. They were both experienced and very easy to talk to. Our safety was their priority, but they took time to let us take pictures. The group I was with was super chill and everyone was looking out for each other. Would definitely do it again.

We had a full day hike at Ricketts Glen on 1/27/2024. Chadd was our guide and was fantastic! He made sure everyone was feeling good consistently throughout the hike. My friend experienced a trip and fall, hitting a boulder. Chadd checked on her constantly during the hike, and when she mentioned pain later on, he brought in people to check her out on the trail. Bob made sure she had no broken bones, etc, and Corey stayed with her to wait for the Ranger (and an ATV) to drive her out.
This is a first rate company and we look forward to future hikes with them (already looking at my calendar to see when I can get back this season)

Great experience, safe and fun. Full day ice climb with temperatures 21-45. Easy to book online & complete waivers. Got a courtesy weather call the day before. Full equipment demo with 4 guides, then Bob & Chelsea took us out for 17/21 waterfalls. Felt safe & supported throughout.

Chad and John were amazing. We had the best hike! We happened to be the first group in, and had the place to ourselves for a while. They were so knowledgeable, experienced and easy going it made it easy for us to relax and enjoy! The views were stunning, and knowing we were being cared for and kept safe made it all the more easy to let go and have a blast. It was an amazing day! Highly recommend!

Me and a few buddies did the intro to climbing at Birdsboro. We climb regularly indoors, top rope, and this was a great introduction to getting outside. Chadd was a great guide, answered all of our questions well, and a great guy to spend a day with.

Amazing experience rock climbing today! We were in the High Rocks section of Ralph Stover State Park with Chad and Bob of Valley to Summit LLC! They come with all the gear and knowledge necessary for a safe and fun time climbing, regardless of your ability level. They were super encouraging and had the whole group engaged. Can't wait to take some more advanced courses with them and learn as much as possible... I'm hooked now!

I wasn't sure what to expect going into this full day Ice Hike at Ricketts Glen. We were forewarned that the weather may not cooperate with less-frozen waterfalls than usual. This was my first time hiking in ice and snow but the staff were great in getting us all geared up and explaining all procedures. I had an amazing experience stomping on the ice and climbing alongside frozen waterfalls with a supplied ice pick! Chadd and Caitlin guided us along the entire way to ensure our safety while having fun too. We didn't use much of the recommended supplies we were asked to bring and carry, but they would probably come in handy if needed. The lunch break was short and we didn't get any hot chocolate but enough time just to have a snack to re-energize. Overall it was a wonderful experience and I would definitely hike these 5+ miles again!
