This place seems to be nice. Kind Staffing, well fed, and there are rules to abide from. A friend of mine stays here and is doing better because of the support and help provided by Victory Center Ministries.

This “homeless shelter” is not what you think it is. Some of the things going on there and practices they do are straight up illegal. One of the workers admitted they came there for help and has lived there 7 years now and have had bed bugs the entire time. The power trip with the staff and the pastor or “apostle” is insane. The pastor himself even straight up admitted to me vocally that his staff treats people differently because of their age. These staff also treated me differently then they would other people. I’m not the only white person in there that noticed it either as my roommates commented on it as well.I’m not gonna mention everything that happened here I witnessed but I will say stay away from this place. The experiences here where bad and traumatizing enough that I never want to step foot on church grounds again.

This is a good place to go if you need food. They have bread of all kinds that you can request when you walk in the door. They also have baked goods to choose from. They have hot meals every day at lunch time and an evening meal. I'm not sure of the times but they are listed on the sign out front. They also have church services for those who would like to attend. It's a great place for when you are in need.

They are very helpful yes they are strict with the rules but they need to be because it makes you a better person. I would stay there again if I ever had to. They helped me become a stronger person. God bless everyone at both shelter's

I lived there for 6 months and was very loved and well provided for. I got a number of spot jobs from local contractors coming in. They didn't charge me rent because I was going to be a new parent and was homeless. They gave me 35$ for Christmas. There were a few who were kicked out that got caught in politics that I personally disagrees with those decisions. Overall I was very blessed. Very very blessed because I was careful and kind. I am also a white young man, so the chance of profiling is near zero. I've also spent years in the system so I know how to survive in a group home. Overall a great experience and I still visit for the meals. Love the Pastors and their church services. Would recommend to anyone. Unless you don't like church. It's church all day every day. You're basically forced into monastic practices like prayer and worship at least three times a day. Your worship is judged for sincerity and enthusiasm. Be aware, it is strict and intense. But if you're a believer I can't tell you anywhere better to go if you're seeing shelter.

Well I wasn't at this place yesterday like maps says, but my wife and I went to eat a meal there. We haven't needed the help for quite a while, but this food they served us and about 12 more was absolutely slop. I wouldn't of fed the slop to my dog!! We'll starve before we ever go back there.
