The atmosphere is cozy. The staff is always friendly, unlike the owner who should be a bit more friendly and smile when customers come in. If you don’t want to lose customers; I’d think twice about the .75 for less ice. I got an X-large ice coffee with 3/4 cup full of ice. When she rang me up I saw the additional charge $.75 for less ice? I was shocked, and it wasn’t her fault, aside from the fact she mentioned she was new, which seems to be happening a lot there.
It’s a quarter of a cup less not the other way around. I was already paying $5.00 for it.
I realize prices have gone up, but I have been to other local small businesses and they don’t charge for less ice unless it’s no ice at all OR less than half!
The other issue pastry isn’t always fresh. If you’re going to sell something, make sure it’s fresh-not try to pass It off stale and hard!

Village Bean is an excellent little coffee shop in Village Green of Windham on Route 111. The breakfast menu is quite limited but the breakfast sandwiches are most certainly better than those served on the other side of the Interstate next door to the Mobil station. When it comes to your “bean” you have many choices with plenty of made-to-go coffee types available as well as actual beans to take home and prepare yourself. The desert case is scrumptious and decadent. The muffins are fresh and delicious. Unique local handy work is fun to peruse while you are waiting for your order. Seating inside is very nice with a bar at the window, small tables, and relaxing, cushioned couches and chairs too. There is even outside seating available. Very much recommended.

Update: They now serve delicious gelato!

The owner of this establishment is very rude. He is not welcoming at all. His overall demeanor is not what you would expect from a small business owner. When I call or walk in to order, he makes me feel like I am a nuisance. Additionally, he is not big on supporting community initiatives/events. I will never return there again unless it's (once again) under new management.

I was there this morning got a cranberry orange muffin , opened the bag and the muffin was falling apart and crumbles, told girl at counter and she said sorry! She should have given me a whole muffin to replace the bag of crumbs! Very disappointed. I want to post pictures of what I got

Very cute coffee shop. Has some novelty items like mugs, shirts and nice selection of snacks. The girl who helped me was very nice. I ordered a medium latte with almond milk and it was $8.00, and with a tip $9. it was a bit much... I’ve only paid that much for a coffee in NY. Starbucks isn’t even charging that. The latte was ok, generic almond milk, it was your average coffee shop late. I get trying to support small businesses but that’s quite a markup.

Great spot! We ordered a cold brew and espresso chai, both were great. Friendly and prompt service, with reasonable prices.

Get their fresh humus! Very tasty!

Will visit again next time we’re in town.

Delicious muffins and the friendliest staff! It was such a nice atmosphere when I popped in. Clearly a community hub and locals favorite. The chai tea latte was very good although a bit sweet for me. Looking forward to returning and hanging out here.
