Beautiful hike! Definitely can be for beginners or experienced hikers. Can't wait to go back but not with the kiddos haha they weren't thrilled but I enjoyed the scenery. Trail is a tad narrow but good hide away

Small park, but beautiful views for a quick 5 to 10 minute hike up the hill. The trail is narrow, check for ticks. Sunrise and sunset the views are extra special. Picnic table at entrance in the shade is a good bonus.

This place could be so much better if the path was just a little better maintained. There are some spots that are completely overgrown and tough to get through.

Then there are dozens of forks and splits on the path with no directional signs or map anywhere. There's also a large emphasis on the importance of not trespassing on the adjoining private property, but there are paths that go straight through fences and past "no trespassing" signs, but it's unclear what is private property and what isn't.

If these paths were marked and the path was a little better maintained, this park would be incredible! It offers some great views of Downtown Omaha and the area!

I would also definitely recommend wearing jeans/boots and taking water! I'm not sure how long the path is. I walked for probably 45+ minutes in total, but I didn't make it to the end. I just turned around after a scenic view and walked back.

This is a great place for a scenic walk ! It has a nice trail ,easy parking great for all ages and once you get to the top you can see council bluffs from several different directions .I highly recommend going here ..tons of info about this place is located at the beginning of the trail ..photos are half way up the trail looking back towards Lewis and Clark school district
