Stopped in only to buy some tees and was greeted very by a enthusiastic employee. Couldn't have asked for a better experience. I will definitely be back for a new set of clubs first of the year. Best customer service I have had in a long time.

Just finished a package of 5 lessons with the owner Ben and it was a fantastic experience for me that I would absolutely recommend. I am just getting back into golf after a very long break and he was able to get my swing and game into far better shape than it has ever been shockingly quickly. His instruction style is super positive and he was great at answering questions/demonstrating things in ways that I could grasp well and take away from the lesson time. The shop itself is full service for anything you need for golf, great Ames local business.

Wagner's Golf is a great golf shop! Ben Wagner and his staff have fit me for a driver, done numerous club re-grippings and Ben can also provide excellent lessons. The team is very friendly, welcoming and giving with their time and advice. We feel very fortunate to have a locally-owned golf shop in Ames. Thanks, Wagner's!

Ben and his team members are top notch people! They want to be sure you are getting what is right for you instead of trying to sell the most expensive products. Also having the opportunity to try out clubs on the simulator is great, especially to get an idea of what feels best for each customer. I know there are golf stores around the Des Moines area, but the extra bit of a drive to Ames to this store is 100% worth it!

Great shop full of awesome merchandise for its size! Ben is a wonderful person to work with on getting fitted and finding the right clubs for YOU! Much better experience than you'll find at a golf galaxy!
