Finally a locally owned store front for hikers, health enthusiasts and great gifts in San Clemente! I happened upon the new Wanderer's Outpost next door to Traders Joes. What fun! The owner was very friendly and helpful. Quite refreshing from the big box stores to navigate through. They even have some discount bins that are alot of fun to sift through. I found a beautiful collared shirt for my husband that not only looks fantastic but is a comfortable fabric and wrinkle free. The store is well stocked but not overwhelming. You will love it too!

Bought a pair of boots, but the discount code didn't work. I emailed support and was refunded the discount amount immediately. On top of that, the shoes arrived really fast, and the shipment contained a personal, handwritten note. I LOVE the boots, I love the commitment to conscious shipping methods, and I love working with local businesses who care about their customers. I would highly recommend this company and will definitely shop with them again, give them your support!

This is a great store for women's and kids hiking gear. They have backpacks, water bottle holders, Camel packs, and high quality clothing. Every pair of pants or shorts has stretch in them, they have linen shirts, moisture wicking shirts as well.

They also carry gear like sleeping bags, shoes, food for hiking. There's even a ramp to test your hiking shoes on before you buy them.

Prices are towards the higher end on average articles of clothing range from $75-$100 per item but they have features that make them specifically for hiking. They also have some spf clothing. It's a small shop so there isn't tons of variety but it screams nature person/tree hugger chic.

Absolute must check out adventure/outdoor store! Not only is the gear high quality but a lot of the brands are sustainable and woman-friendly. Beyond the gear, the staff go above and beyond so you feel extremely prepared for your next trek! My backpack and other purchases from this business have already sent me off on the right foot on my Pacific Crest Trail hike this year. Thank you!

This is THE place to get camping gear and equipment. Family owned and staff very knowledgable. Give military discounts. I’ve bought 5-6 bags, 2 tents, sleeping bags and all have been awesome quality.

I found some Prana hiking shorts at REI that I really liked but they were out of my size. Google took me to wanderer's outpost where I found them on sale! They arrived in just a few days and were packaged in the cutest paper with a hand written note. Will definitely continue to shop with them and have already told several friends :).
