Please do your research before sending your child to summer camp here. Our child was given lovely Cvd during her very short time there, which she gave to us. Drove 400 miles to pick her up ONLY to be completely disrespected by Tyler on the phone. They refuse to admit they have zero cleaning protocols and anyone on site infected. Only excuses and trying to turn the table on me, no solution to the issues I brought to his attention. They also are fine allowing a born boy (transitioning) to be in a girls cabin.

Four generations of my family have camped here. I went to summer overnight camp here as a kid and so did my Sister. Her two children have gone for years. This summer it was finally my kids turn. She just got back and is already talking about going back next summer. She was absolutely thrilled with camp! She loved all of the activities. And she said that the food is awesome. It was when I was a kid also. The counselors were nice and she made friends. She sailed, canoed, did yoga, and the ropes course! Even though I know that it’s a great camp it was still hard leaving her for the first time like that and I cried in the car ride home like it was her first day of Kindergarten. But seeing how happy she was made it all worth it. Thank you Warren Willis I hope that you are around forever for future generations of campers. And my child will definitely be going back next summer!

We camped in their RV park for a week. The grounds are beautiful and clean, the campsites are spacious and easy to get in and out of. They have a nice, clean bathroom/shower room, laundry facility, and other amenities. The price was great and it was quiet and peaceful the entire time. We will camp there again if we visit the area.

Wonderful, Christ centered space. It has a little a known after school program for local schools! Beautiful spot and hospitable staff.

I just want to say this.. first of all there are spiders EVERYWHERE along with dust and dirt whenever you walk through a hallway. Second of all in my room there were dead lizards and bugs along with nests of ants and other insects. 3rd, When I used the shower there was peeling metal that was not visible but it cut my finger just by turning it on. 4th my camp was promised an hour of pool time but it ended by 45 minutes. And during the pool time everyone had to exit the pool because one lifeguard needed a drink of water. Overall I had a horrible experience staying at this camp

This was many, many years ago but my two experiences here as a child were kind of traumatizing. I was plagued with heat sickness or got sick from the food both trips here. I remember having a splitting headache after vomiting for two days as a 9 Year old and getting sent to the camp nurse. She was such a mean lady- she callously asked what I needed, I told her I had a really bad headache and was in tears.. this lady literally told me to my face that I just wanted the pills! As a child.. what kind of grown woman does this, seriously?
I spent the entirety of the week at camp crying nonstop, begging counselors to send me home or let me call my parents neither of which happened. They insisted I had to stay which I understand to a degree because we came as a group.
Not to mention the fact I clearly remember another older female camper during activities (I believe it was some sort of indoor Bible study among girls, can't quite remember) with no counselor around, whips out a razor blade and shows us that she's been carving herself up and look how cool it was. Oh boy..
Where was the supervision and vetting, making sure kids didn't bring weapons like that in?
I will never forget the spiritual time in nature and that I had with God, but I quickly found out "his" people aren't always the best.
Overall a beautiful location, the activities (sailboating, archery, fishing etc from what I can remember) were fun when I wasn't forced to partipate or extremely sick.

Please do your research before sending your young teen to this camp. I assumed because it was a Christian camp my daughter wouldn’t be in a situation where she was asked what prounouns she uses. Within the first hour she was in her cabin with the dorm counselors and they asked all the girls in a group circle what pronouns they use. My daughter was very uncomfortable and this is the way she started her first camp experience. When I called to complain I was shut down. They care more about the 1% and aren’t protecting the other 99%.
