CONS: The staff is 50/50 at best, and the bottom of the pool is slippery, (making me question the cleaning techniques and/or how often ,)

Aside from that
PROS: there is a basketball court, racquetball court, a huge climbing wall, a smoothie center, the actual gym is filled with many well kept machines, every cardio machine you want, an assortment of weights of different kinds, yoga room, an inside AND outside track, a pool with several lap lanes, a sauna, a waterslide, a vortex pool, even a basketball hoop.
Lest we forget the steam room- my personal favorite.

The prices-- ehh, questionable. I pay twice as much here than the last place I went to, but the last place didn't have a pool.

For $10 you can use it for the day.
If you lose your key card it IS a $10 charge
- so be more responsible (!)

I know I'm missing something but it eludes me currently.

The cons are why it's a 4 star gym. Staffing is very important for efficiency. If you don't know how to use a machine, you might not feel comfortable asking, which is potentially dangerous.

Overall, I've been going for 5 months and will continue.

Recently attended the ARC Indoor Track and Field Championships. Nice facility just not a lot of room for this many spectators for such an event.

Just not up to par. While children whose parents pay to use facilities for swimming the staff closes pool shower restroom. Granted lifeguards were still on duty. Our friends young lady who's birthday we were celebrating wanted to not swim and climb the rock wall something she had told everyone she was going to do. She handled it gracefully and did not make a big deal and went back to swim. As her party wasn't over ,5-7, and she was going to crush it. Meanwhile I am freezing looking for someone to let me into shower room after getting granddaughter dressed in party room. Also as I almost slipped in pudding water in front of the two doors I saw towels at desk nicely folded so I grabbed one and mopped up the water shuffling style so all was good. And lifeguard had a key so I got changed. Now it may sound like I'm complaining I'm just doing my job. Maybe preventative to to have some

Very nice facility with friendly and helpful staff. The swim instructors for the kids are great, spending their time supporting and coaching healthy swim habits for toddlers and young children.

It's a nice place. However a family pass is 80 a month. The facilities within the place all have different hours. Pool is open in the morning. Climbing wall in the afternoon. Track during lunch. With people working and with kids at school it's hard to find a time where I can use the track while the kids swims in the pool. You only have a few hour a day window to use the facility as you desire. On top of that the staff/manager is always booking out the place for gymnastics camp or basketball camp with outside organizations. Therefore most the facilities are unavailable to the public during these times. In addition Wartburg college has top priority over the facilities so if the track team wants to practice you can't run on the track. Long story short. The priority to use the facilities are 1) Wartburg 2) outside organizations and lastly 3) the community. For a premium price I didn't appreciate being last priority and not able to use the facility at least 50 percent of the time I went there so I had no choice but to cancel my membership.

What a great place! We were there on a day pass for the pool and it was great for the kids. The only reason I didn't do 5-stars is because there are only two changing/shower rooms for for visitors, which causes a bit of a wait at the end of day when everyone is getting out.

Management is absolutely horrible. The workers are no better. Literally called at 8:40 and asked if they were going to be open because we had a long drive to get there. We get there 40 minutes later and the lady says they’re closed. She even proceeded to laugh about it. Ha ha which was not very funny. They need serious help.
