We came because we needed a hot shower after the hurricane destroyed our community (C.S.R.A.) Ga/S.C. The hotel needs to be updated especially the door. But it met our needs. The best things was the wall a/c unit that you can adjust the temp. Great location across from Walmart and IHOP. All you need close by.

I stayed here after leaving Michigan and driving all day on Feb 27 2023.
Everything was booked full, I arrived with only 3-4 cars in the lot, 1st CLUE, I looked at the pool and the water was green, 2nd CLUE. I decided I needed to rest so I stayed. I asked to see the room and was turned down. It is the most disgusting place I have ever seen. I checked for Bed Bugs and didn't see any. I then only removed what I had to as to not contaminate my belongings. Make SURE YOU CARE YOUR GUN on your side as I did. I encountered undesirables when leaving in the morning.
I decided to leave a review now because I seen the Management answering reviews with were Sorry. In one year it hasn't changed. This place should be condemned. I guess people should call the Health Department on this place.

Don’t stay here, unless you’re desperate.

Front desk clerk was rude when checking In.
He was very cold and not welcoming. Check out was supposed to be at 11, but the manager kept bothering us to leave early.
On the other hand, Housekeeping was very nice.

This place is disgusting. Room smelled like it was very smoked in. The cigarette smoke was overwhelming and disgusting.
Ceiling was dirty.

Front door has gaps allowing all sorts of bugs to crawl in - and crawl in, they did.

It looks like Water is trapped behind the shower drywall - the drywall was bubbling - this could cause all sorts of mold issues - but, luckily I didn’t see any present in the bathroom. It was very unsettling though.

The place is just very rundown and dirty.

NOPE!!! GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! We didn't book a room for Hippie Fest (big mistake) so yeah we were desperate. This room was deplorable, it reeked of weed and stale cigarettes, the door was literally held together with metal screws,it was dark and dengy, the comforters smelled musty and the carpet was gross,cracks in the bathroom walls,broken toilet seat,broken hairdryer, stained yellow shower stall. Tv half worked,microwave was dying. No coffee maker in the room,so we went to the lobby for coffee and we were told to go to a gas station if we wanted coffee because they don't provide it. Don't stay here, book at a good place like we should've done.

My stay at this motel was not a pleasant experience. I feel as if great customer service is vital at any establishment and it was poor. Once I arrived, the male receptionist was rude and nonchalant. Then when I got to my assigned room, the housekeeper was still cleaning/making beds, but I don’t fault them. I just allowed them to finish because they appeared under pressure. When leaving the next day, the same receptionist was still there and he had the same attitude as the day before. The motel as a whole is nice considering the rate, but friendlier staff that caters to paying customers would make it better.

Recently stayed here due to necessity for one night only. I booked the reservation using a website called Traveluro which was one of the first options when searching for online reservations. Check in was no issue; I had been checked in for over an hour and asleep when the manager came beating on the door yelling loudly to, "Open Up". Truly, he has no idea the amount of immediate danger he almost put himself in when he attempted to open the door. That kind of behavior will land you in the newspaper...

When I asked what he wanted, he asked me how I wanted to pay for my room. When I told him I had already paid, he insisted that the website I booked on never pays him and had he been managing the desk at the time he would not have given me the key. He told me to contact the website for a refund. Due to the need to get some urgent sleep, I went ahead and paid again for the room and have been trying to get a refund from the website for an entire day. This guy almost put his life on the line over $90. Never try to get into someone's room like you're the police unless you have a badge on you - could have been a disaster. Do not do business with this place, it is being managed by someone who doesn't understand how to speak to people or how to manage their online business partners, apparently.
