This shelter helped a friend of mine very much get on her feet. If it wasn’t for Mary Margaret she would still be homeless because she had nowhere else to go the shelter helped her with getting on with her life and finding a job and the things that she needed to move upward in life. Mary Margaret is a true blessing that helps woman when in need. God bless her and the shelter

Mary Margaret saved me when I had no place else to go. She took me and others in, and gave fully of herself, to make sure that we were safe, taken care of and had a roof over our heads. She helped us to better ourselves, when the situations we'd come from were bleak and hopeless. Some of the people that entered her doorways were ungrateful and relentless in their pursuit of help. Amoungst those, I will call out Amanda Hoy, as i was in the shelter the same time as she. We don't all, always click, and she was a lost soul, just looking for a handout and complaining the entire process. Instead of being grateful for a roof above and food in her belly, nothing was ever to "her standards" or likings. Mary Margaret, Kindra and Lisa all gave me a home when I had no place else to rest my head. I will be eternally in their debt for all of the kindness bestowed. One bad seed, out of all the rest of us saved, should be tossed and have no impact on the entirety of the group and the lives that she's heelped.Thank god for her, her people and WHATSOEVER YOU DO. That shelter was my home, when I had no other.....

I will give it two stars because of kindra.She was really good about helping me with my personal reference that I needed to get into the apartment I'm in now and also showed a willingness to help outside of the shelter which I greatly appreciate. However Mary which is or at least was the one in charge was a completely different case. It seems like she does play favorites and I was not one of them so I saw her true colors and it was not pretty. First of all let me just say that if you are not on meds she will say you cannot stay there. She appeared to be nice and want to help me at first but when she saw that I had my own plan to get out of homelessness and just needed a place to stay she began to get really out of control with things like watching me through her cameras when I was just sitting in the pews talking to my family she would go as far I believe anyway to listen in on my private conversations and then be nosy by asking me about my family conversations, and for me anyway about every week she would say i can't stay because I'm not on meds or because I didn't see a therapist or just because I didn't say what she wanted me to when I was leaving for the day. This is getting long winded so I'm going to shorten it by just saying Mary is unstable,will watch you with cameras,get into your private conversations through the cameras,constantly tell you you can't stay even if you mind all the rules she will come up with something to say you cannot stay like with me when I eventually agreed to all the rules then she just turned around and made up another excuse to say cannot stay by not saying what she wanted me to say when leaving for the day,she is narcisstic,controlling,changes her mind alot even if she say it's three months it may not be. Depends on her mood and if she favorites you,and appears to I believe only has that shelter so she can have someplace to go to get away from her abusive husband but I saw and heard her deny alot of women that called and asked for help and I believe some of them had children.So it looks like for the most part she is just using that shelter as her personal shelter to get away from her husband while taking in a few people just to look good but that is Not why a person should help people they should help just simply because it's the right thing to do. So please do not give money to her because it seems like for the most part anyway she is just helping herself.Unless of course you are dying of the cold and heat and that is the ONLY option is the only time I would recommend this shelter other than that I would definitely Not recommend this shelter.There are plenty of other shelters you can go to that you won't be as controlled and to where you won't have to be worried about being kicked out every 5 minutes.

Have met some great ladies here both workers and guests. The workers are helpful in the needs being ment of each guest. Both guests and workers help with applying for jobs and knowing where is hiring. The weekly goals meetings help each person, in planning where they are in progress to bring people back to being on their own. Mary- Margaret helps a lot for supper ,breakfast,and laundry. So if you need help make sure if you are a woman to contact her and do intake with her. This is a great place to get the help needed if your really wanting to get a job and get back on your own feet. They keep their promise to give all the help they can as long as you do your part...

My so called friends kicked me out in 20 degree weather and Mary Margaret was so nice and took me in. Gave me a warm place to stay she's been amazing!

Mary Margaret works really hard to keep the shelter up and running. She really cares about keeping all her residents safe and secure. Mary and Kindra truly want the best for all the girls and to see them be successful in life

I just want give a shout out to Mary Margaret and other people who helped me at the Whatsoever You Do, Inc. Shelter. It was a TRUE blessing. They helped me with budget skills and helped me save to money to get my own apartment. Thank you for EVERYTHING. I love you all ❤️❤️

Everyone who I have met at this place is very polite. I feel so blessed to be a part of the team! This is such a blessing for women and their children to get back on their feet! This is such a blessing for these residents to get a fresh start!
