It is a nice trail that good see many kinds of birds and other animal life. Also, it is not a very long trail at approximately 2.25 miles long. This distance was told me by a local so I do not know how accurate that number really is.They do a really good at keeping it clean from trash. There is a small garden and pond at the front entrance of the trail. Make sure you wear long pants due to that there ticks so be careful and watch out if you bring your dog.

Took the dog for a walk here yesterday. Had no idea where this trail to the river everyone talks about. Wide walkway goes from parking lot to back fence and ends there.

This is one of the least traveled parks in Gloucester County. This is a great spot for migratory and also nesting birds. If you are lucky you will hear a Bobwhite, as this is a place they release them in an effort to reestablish them. It can be tough to navigate, but park in the lot and walk through though the grass field through the gate in the fence. Turn left and follow the fence to the left around the facility until you come out into an open area, where you will turn right. From here just follow the road around the preserve.

A trail that has seen better days but still is quite usable.

The trail starts at the entrance to the incinerator plant and goes around the edge of the facility in a wooded area. The trail then leads to the actual refuge that is surrounded by low lying lands with some wildlife to observe.

Low difficulty, full length can be walked in less than an hour.

Avoid going here after it rains though. The entrance to the trail especially gets quite muddy.

I've been walking these Trails for years and never have I seen it so poorly maintained as I saw today. It's been just over a year since the last time I visited here and these trails are now severely overgrown with downed trees and litter at every turn. My dog and I ended up following deer trails to the exit. When this place is accessible it's a nice walk in the woods with plenty of wildlife to see. A local scout troop installed a butterfly garden and there is a pavilion with picnic tables for visitors to use

Great butterflies and river views. I'll spend more time next time to enjoy the walking paths
