This park seems to be the bare basics of a dog park, but I may be spoiled being used to Paws and Pints. I believe it still deserves 5 stars for existing and being free to the public. The first 20 mins were a bit boring as no one else was there and my dog wasn't interested after our walk to enjoy the open area alone. I'm glad we stuck around though because more dogs came to play and we had a blast! A water fountain would be great, but appreciate the well thought out rain barrel that can be used to fill provided water bowls at least. The location is nice being located on a trail.

Empty when we went except for some matted fur. Also, no water available for the dogs and with very little tree cover I thought that was a huge downside. It's a pretty long walk from the parking lot to carry a gallon of water and a bowl! But I guess that's what you get at a free park.

Park at the Windsor Heights community center and it’s a 2 minute walk over to the dog park via the bike path. It took us a minute to find the lot, but the park was awesome, clean and large. We went at 6 AM and no one was there. Great spot for a road trip break for your pups!

Great spot to let your dogs stretch their legs on a road trip! Totally fenced in and the entrance is secured with two gates. Someone had left bowls and a gallon of water to share and the whole park was very clean.

I love this park! It’s huge and has to sections for small and large dogs, I took my boy here for the first time tonight and he loved running freely.

Idk where the dog park is but the guy that rents storage containers and camper storage at West Des Moines Storage is pretty cool and very reasonable.

Park in Colby Park parking lot and follow the trail south. It will lead to the dog park.

Not much for the dogs to do…would like to see more agility equipment maybe a water fountain? Not very busy most days-hard to get to via Google’s directions.
