This is such a hidden gem of a museum! The amount of information they give about World War II is almost overwhelming but it's all very neatly displayed and organized. One of my favorite parts are all the uniforms and things donated by local veterans and their families. They do a really great jump at giving you all the information, about not only the veteran who donated their things but also general information, by using a phone and number system. You call the phone number and enter the number of the display you'd like to learn more about and viola! It's very sophisticated for such a small museum. This museum also has a number of events that honor veterans which is nice. The only problem with it is that it's hard to find but it's WELL worth your time and as more people discover it, the more funding and donations they'll receive, and the more they can grow. I HIGHLY recommend this museum!

An absolute must see! You can spend hours reading about and looking at the displays. The curators are on hand to answer questions and are always friendly and helpful. We go every time we are in the area.

This place is a hidden gem right in Walnut Ridge! So much history and the exhibits are really are really informative and cool. There is lots more inside than you'd think, just looking at it from the outside. Really well done! Frank (Wilson) is a wealth of knowledge about the history of the airbase at Walnut Ridge. Ask him about anything and he's more than happy to tell you a story about it. Super nice and gave us a great tour of the era and facility.

Make-A-Wish gave us a "reveal" of a trip for my son here and I'd like to thank them (they're awesome!) and the Wings of Honor for everything! I'm so glad we went and will definitely visit again...with friends!

What a fantastic place. Not your normal diorama style boring museum. Almost everything here was donated and is maintained by the many fine men and women who served from the area. Clothes gun jeeps, trainers there is so much to see and read the first hand account of the people who wore the and used them. It's fascinating. It was free but please make a donation or buy a tee-shirt it all goes for a great cause.
