If you're looking for a cabin to get away from the hustle and bustle, this is the place. Plenty of room for the family to spread out and relax. The boys enjoyed fishing in the pond while the ladies enjoyed watching wildlife from the back porch. The place was a clean and well maintained. worth every penny

Had a great last minute getaway with the family. The white pine cabin was clean and was very well maintained. The grounds were also clean and well maintained. We had a great experience and look forward to our next visit again in the near future.

We stayed at the white pine cabin for a couples' getaway, and it was perfect. I wish we would have stayed longer! We have a boat and spent the day on the lake, but the cabin had a nice patio with a table - perfect for eating/playing cards. They also had a nice charcoal grill and fire pit. Everything was super clean, and the whole process was super easy. Sandy was so kind and helpful. I would highly recommend if you are looking for a place to stay near Lake Shelbyville!

A group of 14 men have been renting the 2 big cabins for fishing trips. Very very nice acodamations and very close to the marina which is also very well equipped. These cabins are in a very wooded area away from the crowds. The owners are very attentive and booking has never been a problem. We will be back again next year

Great place! Sandy was great to deal with. This little cabin hideaway was so nice and very quiet. Everything in the cabin was so clean and so very cute. Loved the extended open porch with the ceiling fan to keep us cool. Everything you need was provided. All you need to bring is your shower toiletries, food, kitchen foil, storage bags, plastic wrap, and charcoal for the grill. I don’t have any complaints at all, other than there is no internet, but Sandy and neighbors have complained and are working to hopefully have it in the future. You may get two bars of internet on your phone, but it’s in and out. We survived though, as it’s such a nice place to go. Launching our boat was no problem either with several launches close by. Being on Lake Shelbyville was so awesome. I didn’t expect just how big and beautiful the lake is. We will definitely go back! We had a great time we so enjoyed everything about our long weekend! Thank you, Sandy for your hospitality! 😊

This past Easter was our second Easter visit in as many years. We loved our stay at the Walnut #2 cabin. While it has the rustic cabin "look" it is quite modern and comfortable. And Sandy, the owner, was very accommodating to our needs. We especially enjoyed being able to enjoy the large recreational space (The Broken Paddle Bar) with our large family. I guess we're starting a tradition.

The cabins are so clean and lovely and provide for all of your living needs. The grounds are beautifully maintained and the surrounding woods are peaceful and inviting. Best of all, the owners are welcoming, helpful, and go out of their way to make your stay the best. We go every year and we're never disappointed!
