ZB has been wonderful for my daughter. The teachers have been amazing in working with my family to accommodate my daughters needs. There are definitely some issues with fighting amongst students, but the school can only do so much.....how kids treat others starts at home. My daughter has excelled at Zion and we are very happy there.

I give it zero stairs, why? The fights that happen, the students smoking in the bathrooms, the para pros, and deans are power hungry, the deans guilt trip you, the social workers don’t care,they waste there money on building more of the school instead of putting it into better food, into better classroom, better desks, helping students. They also charge to much for school PE uniforms. They say their a good school but the only thing good about the school is their teams, and even then they haven’t won any games since 2012. I wish all the future students that will be going there a good luck, because they will need it when they get there.

This school is the most wretched place I’ve ever been. If I could go back time and stop this school from ever being built, I would do it in a heartbeat. They seem to focus on building new things we don’t really need, instead of the stuff that really matters. Anyway, this school sucks don’t send your kid here, it’s hell on earth.

I was a transfer student to ZBTHS, and had lots of problems with credit transfers and electives. I had to take 2 semesters of APEX (summer school) and my entire schedule was flipped. Environment was fun, if you hung out with the right people. Getting involved and staying focused on your goals with help you get through it, but not enough motivation was driven into students. It was more of a "pass this class with at least a D and you're good." School lunches were the same everyday, you WILL get yelled at for not wearing an I.D or appropriate clothing. Don't let the little things stress you out because every High School has its thing.

No stars, this school is by far the worst place you can put a kid into, my kid has gotten bullied many times but today i draw the line, its his birthday and he came home with his arms all beat up im going public with this, enough bullying this needs to stop!!! Where is this adults that work in this place? Probably watching it happening and doing nothing about it.

I was a transfer student from NCCHS (North Chicago Community High School) and dropped out my junior year. I had problems with the flex-mod bell susyem, I did return to finish school and graduate. The drama club, Encore Players, was one of the best things for me.
I have fond memories of some of my teachers and fellow classmates.

Metal detectors are horrible a kid got stabbed multiple times there are kids smoking.the bathrooms are horrible and there all locked down most of the time
