This hotel is under new management; however, as a new manager there are some areas that needed extra attention to detail. Maybe cosmetically funding may not be available yet to replace flooring or furniture but a little paint can make a big difference. The toilet paper dispenser was rusted which could have been spray painted if cost to replace wasn’t in the budget. Towels were very dingy and thin. A quick trip to Walmart to furnish even 10 rooms would have helped. The dressers were falling apart. The hairdryer was off the wall but everything still intact. Reattach to wall or discard and make a trip to purchase inexpensive new ones at Walmart. I don’t understand how people can rate a hotel so high when it clearly isn’t up to standards which only causes others to believe it is decent. On a positive note the clerk was super nice.

The beds are sooo soft and comfortable, nice cozy room. The bathroom however is super small but I suppose that's a part of a small town inn. Was an easy stay and they're dog friendly

I was checked in in a timely manner. The gentleman I spoke with over the phone was very professional as well as friendly. The code made it much easier to get in the door, I like the fact that the rooms are all ground level because I'm disabled and climbing stairs makes things extremely difficult for me. IF I HAD to complain about ANYTHING, it would be the size of the shower. LOL

Stayed here, September 2024. I'd rather stay at a motel. I can park my car in front of my room. No dragging luggage inside of a building. Very clean room, had a microwave and refrigerator, air. I love staying at a nostalgic motel. I recommend a night stay or two. I just worried about the kitty staying near motel.

I stayed at the Evergreen Inn last night, and not only was the room different and quaint, compared to your usual brand name Motel, but it had good Style as well, very good decor. The shower , was tiled and professional , and the water , was not hard , it had great water pressure and heat . I even had a Roku TV in my room. In addition, Nila the motel Clerk, took all my information over the phone, as she knew that I would not be arriving, before the office closed. She gave me a code to enter my room, instead of using keys, which is an excellent idea, as some people like myself, work late, travel late, and sometimes have lots of trouble getting a hold of Motel desk Clerks. She was very detailed, and attentive, which was truly appreciated. I would recommend the Evergreen Inn to anyone traveling through the area.

I gotta say, for under $75, the room was extra comfy, clean, TV and shower worked, and prompt service.
The owner checked me in on the phone- very convenient since I was very tired. She was very pleasant. I was relieved not to worry about a key to lose -opened the keyless lock easily!
Thankfully the only noise intrusion was one train - no partyers, no drunks, no paper thin walls people’s voices keeping me awake.
I gratefully enjoyed my stay in a time of a family funeral. Thx Evergreen owners!

This is a tiny, family-owned motel built back in the 1940s and updated in the 1990s. The outside is clean and well maintained. The front desk staff is super friendly and helpful. The pet-friendly room was clean. The beds are comfortable, and I like that it has a little kitchenette with a drop leaf table and two chairs, fridge, and microwave. My husband said to add that the water pressure is better than most of the hotels in which we’ve stayed. ❤️ If you’re coming to Osceola for any reason, avoid the more expensive options for this little mom and pop and you won’t be disappointed.
