Travis was great! We had an event yesterday that Travis worked for us, and everyone had a blast! This is our second event with Fonix and we can't wait to use them again in the future. Thanks again to Olivia and Travis! They were prompt, professional, and super friendly! All of my questions about my event were answered and they were accommodating to our guests music requests and any hiccups that came Travis' way. Again, thank you so much and if you're looking for a Do-It-All DJ who can spin some awesome tunes for your corporate event - he's your guy!

It goes without saying that Travis is a topnotch DJ. He did an excellent job managing the pace of our wedding reception and keeping everybody on the dance floor. What earns him and his team an excellent rating, though, is the guidance they offered well before we walked down the aisle. The online tool Fonix uses was a great help in thinking through our playlist and organizing our ceremony & reception, and Travis was always available for a quick call for song recommendations, day-of planning advice, and any other questions we could throw at him.

If you want a wedding that your guests will remember, and you want it to go off without a hitch, skip the wedding planner and hire Fonix!

The perfect package was hiring both DJ Travis/Fonix Entertainment AND Olivia Gilbert as the Day of Wedding Coordinator for our daughter's wedding. DJ Travis really grasped the couple's personalities and learned as much about what music they didn't want to play as what they did. DJ Travis also helped to build the excitement as the evening unfolded, playing softer, more romantic music so people could talk and eat, and then rocking the room when he invited everyone on to the dance floor! Regarding Olivia, I originally didn't think I needed a wedding coordinator. Oh was I wrong!! Olivia handled 1,000 unexpected things that occurred from difficulty with bustling the train on the bridal gown so the bride could dance at the reception to a broken zipper on the maid of honor's dress. She seamlessly kept us on a timeline without it feeling rushed or rigid. From the planning to the flawless execution of the day's events, Olivia calmly and efficiently handled everything so I could focus on participating in and enjoying our daughter's wedding day. Thank you to DJ Travis and Olivia! They're an unbeatable team.

DJ Travis was exactly who we needed for our wedding! We first saw him and Olivia (office manager and wedding coordinator) at a bridal convention and immediately went home to book them for our wedding. After watching videos of other DJs, I felt like a lot of DJs were either too hyped for the guests we had attending, or catered to a much younger crowd (teenagers and below). That was not the case with DJ Travis! His planning sheet was fun to fill out and let us mark exactly what songs we wanted for every part of the wedding processional/recessional, first dance, cake cutting, bouquet toss, etc. etc. We also got to compile a list of songs we definitely wanted played at the wedding and songs that we definitely did NOT want played. Further, a list of group dances was provided to choose from! For every song we could write specific notes, versions, etc. and we even had a final planning meeting to go over all of the details. We even got to choose the level of which he interacted with guests or encouraged people to dance and more. Essentially, if you fill out the sheet, DJ Travis and Olivia will meet all your requests to the best of their abilities. They sure did for our wedding and we were extremely satisfied with our choice! A GIANT thank you to Olivia for being our wedding coordinator. We could not do it without her. I didn’t think it was possible for someone to be in 20 places at once, but she did it flawlessly and made sure that everyone knew what they were doing, when they were doing it, where and in what manner! She kept things moving and met ALL of our requests. She even had water and mints for us throughout the day. 🙂 She made the day perfect! So thankful for both of them!

I booked Travis with Fonix Entertainment a couple of weeks ago to host a small business/corporate party. The music not only catered to the whole crowd, but Travis kept the event lively and engaging for everyone! I received many compliments on the entertainment. Travis was a pleasure to work with and he made sure the entertainment side of the event went better than planned! A+ service!!

We booked this company last minute because our original DJ backed out. There were several good reviews which is why we booked. While the planning process was easy and organized, I was disappointed with the services at the event. My husband and I taught a swing dance lesson during our reception, and we were rushed and interrupted several times by the DJ saying very loudly over the microphone “are you ready yet” In the middle of the lesson! While I appreciate the attempt to stay on schedule, it’s okay to be a little flexible and there’s a nicer way to do it. The lesson was very special to us, and a way to bring guests into how we met. I also did not like her way of delivering instructions over the microphone. Her tone of voice sounded very harsh when giving directions to guests. There was also supposed to be open mic after the maid of honor and best man toasts, but she skipped right over that. This was expensive for the type of service we got.

DJ Travis did an awesome job providing DJ services for our annual Holiday Soiree. They also provided beautiful uplighting and I was so impressed with Olivia's event management skills. They were a joy to work with!!!

There isn’t even words to describe how terrible of an experience we had with DJ Fonix. He blamed my wedding planner as well, did not remember how to pronounce my wedding party’s names, did not even say hello to me, the bride, when he first saw me, and I can go on and on. The worst was that he did not even introduce the best man and maid of honor into the reception and was seen by guest yelling at my wedding planner - he was beyond terrible. So much drama and from a man himself. I’ve waited to post anything because I received a rather disturbing reaponse from him when I attempted to address these issues in writing after I addressed them in person. I would never recommend going with this DJ. I was happy with all of my other vendors.
